Enough is Enough

Have you ever felt anxiety come over you like a flood? Your girl has most definitely been there recently! But the Lord led me to Isaiah 59:19:

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.”

Think about a flood. It can come quickly. It can feel overwhelming, like everything is coming at you from every direction. Sometimes anxiety feels just like that. But God!

The Word says that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him! God will raise His banner against what the enemy is trying to do. The enemy does NOT have the final say!

But we must continue to walk in a true relationship with the Lord. God doesn’t want a part-time lover. He wants our lives.

Commune with Him daily. Love on Him continually. Seek to live a life that is pleasing unto Him. And remember—we cannot do it in our own strength. We need His strength, His power, and His Spirit!

So when anxiety tries to flood your mind, remember: The flood is NOT greater than the TRUE and living God! The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against the enemy!
