Find Your People

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Proverbs 27:17

Yesterday, I attended an event and heard the song "Find Your People" for the first time. After the song was played, the presenter shared about the people in her life—those who help shape her into the person she is today. Her words truly got me thinking about the importance of the people we choose to surround ourselves with.

The Word reminds us that iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). We need people who are genuinely authentic—those who will encourage us, pray for us, correct us in love, and truly desire the best for us.

The song says to find your people. I would add—ask the Lord to lead you and show you who those people are. He knows exactly what we need and who we should have in our lives to help us reach our full potential in Him and in life.

So I encourage you—pray for discernment. Ask the Lord to help you FIND YOUR PEOPLE!
